Here's a very different simulation tool.
We use a hammer tool to break off the gargoyle's ear and a corner of his wing. This tool performs an Finite Element simulation, which applies a Gaussian distribution of forces, computes stresses within the model and performs the necessary fractures. The positions and orientations for these tools were chosen in an interactive system on a lower resolution model. | ||
