In the display below, each button plays a sound clip of an English word. You will see a series of N displays like this, but the buttons will play Japanese instead of English words (it is fine if you don't know any Japanese). Given the "target word" at the top of the display, your job is to pick the sound clip that produces the same word. You may want to play the clips more than once.
The "target word" will vary in quality across the trials. Sometimes it may begin with a pause, sometimes the quality may be very poor, and/or sometimes it will sound like it was machine generated. Please try your best on all trials. Thank you for your effort and your patience.

The correct response is to select the right radio (circular) button. You will see N displays like this, each containing M different choice words.
