Attention Autocrats
As borrowers of baronial chattels, you are responsible for knowing
the policies governing such loans. If you haven't read the Steward's
Policies, please go back here and read them. And
if you have't read the How to Borrow explanation, please do so, as it will
make working with me much easier for you. Thank you.

Carolingian Chattels
A box or package labelled "opened" has been partly used, but there's
still a significant amount left.
When a container is listed with its contents as a single entry (e.g. the
portfolio of indoor signs), I usually prefer to not split it up and give
you just pieces of it. However, when an item is listed with its contents
broken into a sublist (e.g. the knife box), I can easily give you just part
of the contents if that seems to make sense.

Non-Carolingian Chattels
There are some items that are occasionally used for Carolingian events
which are not baronial property. These items are private
property; access to them varies, and the owner is not obliged to lend them
to any Carolingian autocrat who asks for them. They are listed here as
a convenience:
100' thick hemp rope with cloth midpoint marker, for tug-of-war.
Property of Frydherik Eysenkopf. To borrow: on semi-permanent loan
to the barony. Ask the Steward for this.
Portable lists -- enough wooden stanchions & ropes to set up 3-4 lists
of reasonable size; good for indoor sites or areas where nothing may be
stuck into the ground. Packs into 1 garbage can full of 3' sticks
(uprights & feet) and 1 milk crate full of base blocks, plus rope.
Property of Tibor of Rock Valley. To borrow: talk to Tibor about
arranging to pick it up from his house.
Maypole upright -- 18' long by 6" diameter tree trunk, stripped of bark,
unpainted. Works with baronial maypole top (listed under Activities Gear,
above). Property of Frydherik Eysenkopf. To borrow: talk to
Frydherik about arranging transport from his workshop in Waltham.
Installation requires a hole, usually dug with a post-hole digger;
Frydherik has one of those too.
