Research Interests

I am a postdoctoral associate working with Hari Balakrishnan in the Networks and Mobile Systems group of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at MIT. I received my PhD from MIT in September of 2009, working with Nancy Lynch in the Theory of Distributed Systems group.

I study algorithms and lower bounds for wireless networks. My theoretical work concerns achieving reliable and secure coordination in this inherently non-reliable and non-secure environment. I am particularly interested in what can be accomplished in a wireless setting suffering from adversarial faults. My work as a postdoc will apply this theoretical perspective to the practical goal of implementing reliable and scalable vehicular mesh networks.
