I am currently a tenured Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Copenhagen, Denmark. From 2018 to 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher at MIT CSAIL working with Prof. Antonio Torralba. Before joining MIT, I obtained my PhD from University of Edinburgh, under the supervision of Prof. Vittorio Ferrari and Prof. Frank Keller. I received my M.Sc and M.Eng from Democritus University of Thrace (Duth), Greece in 2013 and 2011, respectively. My research is in the area of computer vision and I mainly focus on developing efficient annotation approaches for learning visual recognition models.
