Yes, it’s hard to keep one’s eyes off the mountains when trekking in the Annapurna Himal. But it would be a shame to ignore the lush vegetation in the valleys, where verything seemed to be growing on everything. This density and complexity was a fantastic contrast to the austere geometric beauty of the mountains. I loved experiencing and photographing it all.
