This may not be my favorite image of this scene (my pick is the direct, head-on view), but this roughly 45-degree view better reveals the shrine’s shape. It’s also easier to see the snow and ice clinging to it. The light was very soft at the end of the day. I experimented here with a fast lens at f/2, seeking a dreamy look.
