Re: Who's working on DUIM for the Mac?

Over the last couple of days you'll have seen Gareth Baker's Carbon
application sample and my Simple Application Framework (part of mac-d2c)
announced: both are programs that implement a GUI under MacOS with d2c using
Dylan and the Mac Toolbox. If you're interested in getting something going
now, "Simple" should support basic application development (windows, menus,
dialogs), and Gareth's Carbon sample shows how to handle Apple Events and
get ready for MacOS X.

I'm now working through DUIM, getting it to compile under d2c (there are
lots of minor incompatibilities between Fun Dev and d2c). I've ported Dylan
code before ( Mindy and d2c to Macintosh ), so this is familiar territory.

I know several Gwydion Hackers have recently expressed interest in a d2c
DUIM port, particularly on Macintosh and Be. Lets get organized on the list
and see what we can do.
