I'm curious: is Dylan a kind of Lisp?

x-no-archive: yes
I am not a newbie in general-programming terms, but I wanted to stretch my programming imagination a
bit by learning lisp and refreshing prolog. I got me two lisp books (Winston and Graham) and I'm set
here. But, I heard that there's this Dylan thing that someone said isn't as imbecilically infested
with parentheses, and so I thought to myself, maybe I'll go look at that thing before I spend the
time with lisp. Maybe it is based on same concepts but not as disgusting looking.

Since I presume you know about Dylan, what do you say? (I don't really _need_ any of them (like
immediately) but I am curious and I see where I could potentially use this kind of languages (at
least prolog, coz I kinda know it a little.))

I'm not a ruffian and I know one has to read the FAQ before posting, but I couldn't see where it's
posted. If you tell me where it is, I'll gladly read it before posting anything else.

Thanks.
