Assuming that you're testing this on MacOS it might also be worthwhile
trying it on a UNIX box as they have less trouble with stack overflows
than MacOS/MacOS X. The macro expansion in GD might trigger a very deep
recursion that does eventually exit, which would survive OK on a UNIX
box but cause a stack overflow on MacOS.
