Nah, more like the janitor, I picked up the pieces dropped by the
folks at CMU, polished them a bit and put them up on a shelf.  From
time to time, good people come by, see the collection, and leave some
more bits and pieces of their own.

But sometimes at nights, I have delusional dreams of the great machine
that could be built using these parts.  Something like making Deuce,
the Emacs clone written by Scott McKay, work with Gwydion, and then
replacing UNIX/Win32/MacOS functionality step by step, until we have
our own operating system, much like MacLisp became the Lisp Machine
OS.
