SomeWear is an Android Watch application supplemented by a mobile application. It aims to provide real time, specific suggestions for a user catered to their preferences. Using Google Maps' location services, SomeWear selects a destination based on the user's preferences within a one mile radius of their current location. Then, it provides walking directions via Google Maps Directions to the final destination on the mobile phone. Rather than allowing the user to input a location, the application uses spontaneity in which the user decides at the current moment that they would like to go somewhere.

In a sample use case, the user, Ben, is hungry and would like to find a place to eat. He would prefer not to walk more than fifteen minutes to a restaurant and is also craving a nice cup of coffee and maybe a yummy sandwich. First, the Ben opens the application on his Android Watch by way of touch or speech. When using the speech capability, Ben simply speaks into the Android Watch, "I'm hungry", in which the Android Watch displays a screen with a restaurant suggestion. In this case, the first option is Area Four. Ben already ate pizza last night, so he touches the "X" button, indicating that he would like to keep looking. The Android Watch then displays another suggestion, including the address and walking time. Eventually, SomeWear suggests Flour Bakery, with just enough information, such as a 10 minute walk, for Ben to select the green check mark. Finally, the Android Watch directs Ben to view his mobile phone, where he can see a map with directions to Flour Bakery and begins navigation.

SomeWear is a revolutionary smart watch application that uses a user's need for instant gratification, allowing them to specify their location preference, provide a suggestions and destination information, and finally, directions to their final destination. This application ensures that users are never left bored at any given point and always have somewhere to go.
