A morphable model of 3D faces (inspired by that of Blanz and Vetter) that is much more expressive in terms of race, gender, and emotion than those currently in use.

Previously, I worked on responsive photonic crystals with Professor Yadong Yin. It has been a while since I have been in a wet lab, but I think the intersection of chemistry and machine learning is looking pretty promising.
