temp: 14C; smell: citrus, orange, lime, a bit floral; taste: acidy, some mineral, lively; too acidic for our dinner---flounder wrapped with carrot/raisin/apricot (wine too dry); reminds of (Babich) New Zeland Sauvignon Blanc, but a little more rounded, flavors more subdued; excellent match for seared trout and carmelized fennel; Helen noted a fennel smell in the wine; nice balance & complexity in wine; has significant body under the acidity w/o vanilla/oak flavors---a rare find
