There will be an optional tutorial on each Wednesday afternoon that immediately precedes an assignment due date and a review session the evening before each quiz. Attending these tutorials should assist you in completing your homework assignments and in preparing for the quizzes.

  3. Homework assignments handed in on time will be corrected and graded using a P+, P, P-, P-- system. Solution sets will be distributed when assignments are returned. Late homework will not be corrected, but it will be assigned the grade of L to acknowledge its submission.

P+ Student is really on top of the material.
P Student understands most of the material.
P- Student is having trouble with the fundamentals of the material and could benefit from more studying, or seeing one of the instructors or the TA.
P-- Student doesn't understand enough of the material or his/her homework show little effort.
0 Homework not turned in. Missing Homework.
L Late homework will not be graded.

  4. All questions regarding quizzes (grading, etc) should be directed to Professor Dubowsky.
Lab:
  1. Lab attendance in required. Missing more than one laboratory session will result in a failing grading in 2.010.
