Blobby Shape Dataset
A dataset to improve our understanding of shape, material, and illumination
Overview
This page describes the synthetic dataset used in the paper “Shape Estimation in Natural Illumination” by M.K. Johnson and E.H. Adelson, CVPR 2011. The dataset consists of 100 images: ten blobby shapes rendered in ten natural lighting environments. The dataset includes obj files, normal maps, masks, and scripts for rendering the images.
