The Spectral Modeling Toolbox contains MATLAB routines for sound analysis/synthesis using short-time Fourier and wavelet transforms. Also included in the toolbox is a simple psychoacoustic model and generally useful statistical routines, such as Principal Component Analysis (PCA).
