Here are a few examples of fun random crafts that I like to do. (I also do more normal things like quilting, jewelry-making, and sewing, but well, lots of people do that, so I won't bother to document them.)

In January of 2008, I took an awesome lost wax metal casting class at MIT.
I made two sculpted bunnies in silicon bronze and two copies of my sculpey companion cube, one in pewter and one in silicon bronze.
Here are the wax bunny sculptures I made:
And here they are cast in metal:
(still unpolished. One of these days I'll get around to the hours of polishing it'll take to fix 'em up with my dremel. If they'd told me silicon bronze was nearly as hard as steel, I would have gone with pewter.)
Here are the wax copies of my companion cube that I made with a silicone mold, ready to be encased in ceramic and then cast in metal:
