AdaBoost: Boosting with adaptive weights. Robert Schapire, "A Brief Introduction to Boosting," ICJAI, 1999. The algorithm used to train lip trackers is very similar to Paul Viola and Michael Jones, "Robust Real-time Object Detection," Workshop on Statistical and Computational Theories of Vision, 2001.
