I am a research scientist with the Medical Vision Group of Polina Golland at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at MIT, and assistant professor at CIR Lab at Medical University of Vienna.

My research interests are at the interface of neuroscience and machine learning, and the development of new perspectives for the study of cognitive processes. I am particularly interested in the emergence and workings of complex cognitive abilities, and their distributed structure  across the human brain.
