Please click on images of interest to enlarge! Perhaps I'll write a better photo album tool some time...
I have minimal knowledge in plants and flowers, so please let me know if you can identify any!

A tree with flowers outside where I live (Tang Hall). Below are some close-ups. These flowers can be found at many places on campus; this is at the track.

A warm and sunny afternoon. Main Street, next to my department, is filled with these trees! The feeling of spring (春天的氣息) emanates from these little white flowers.

The trees line the sidewalk! If only every day was like this.

Don't you wish your Sunday afternoon was spent here?

If you're tired of flowers, this would be a nice break.

Crossing the Longfellow Bridge over to Boston. Given the frequency of T trains, it is not often that you see two trains stopped at the Red Line MGH! Three ways to cross the bridge: T, car, and walking.

A view from the bridge. More trees with white flowers on Storrow Drive!

This one almost looks like a Christmas tree. Its branches are so abundant with flowers.

Viewing the Boston side of the Charles River. I would like to go sailing on the Charles in the sunset some fine day. Planning to learn over summer!

A tree along the banks of the Charles, filled abundantly with large pink flowers! Squirrels like the flowers too!

The flowers look fabulous in the sunset. Hopefully my photography skills will improve to capture their true beauty some day.

Doesn't this make you want to relax on the bench? Human + best friend enjoying nature.

The plaque reads: "The trees were presented... as a symbol of friendship and goodwill between the people of Massachusetts and Japan by the International Cultural Association of Japan... May 11 1985."
Thank you! We all appreciate their beauty.

The artificial waterways are very pleasant.

An interesting Arthur Fiedler bust. Boston loves its music, especially the Boston Pops Orchestra. Families enjoying on the deck. Near the setting sun is the MIT Dome and the Green Building.

Everything is so elegant.

The duck seems so carefree. More elegance along the river.

Doesn't this look like a scene from some TV drama? More views of the trees on the 'island'.

Couples enjoying the sunset. What an appropriate usage for an interestingly shaped tree!

More trees filled with large pink flowers, outside McCormick Hall. Such young, budding flowers!

The plaque reads: "The Class of 1985 Common - A gift of the MIT class of 1985."
Thanks you! It is a wonderful garden.
According to a sign on the trees, these flowers are star magnolia. One detects a sweet scent under these trees.

This tree is truly the prize.

Ecstatic about the upcoming spring and summer!
