User Study FAQ
- Are the data I send submitted securely?
 Yes. Your data are transmitted using SSL. Although
    CSAIL servers do not use
    certificates signed by an authority recognized by Firefox, the Codetrail
    extension contains its own copy of the certificate to validate the
    connection.
- Who approved this study?
 The MIT Committee On the
    Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects, as with all MIT research where
    people are subjects.
General FAQ
- Who are you?
 Codetrail is primarily the work of
    Max Goldman, a member of the
    User Interface Design Group
    (headed by Rob Miller)
    at the MIT
    Computer Science and Artificial
    Intelligence Laboratory.
- Where does Codetrail store data?
 In your Eclipse workspace directory, under
    .metadata/.plugins/edu.mit.csail.uid.codetrail.core,
 and in your Firefox profile directory (file names start with codetrail).
- How do I uninstall Codetrail?
 Uninstall the Eclipse plug-in from Help > Software
    Updates > Manage Configuration, find the plug-in,
    right-click and choose Uninstall.
 Uninstall the Firefox extension from Tools > Add-ons.
 If desired, you can also remove Codetrail's data files
    (see previous question), which are not deleted automatically.
- Is the source code for Codetrail available?
 Yes, under the X11 a.k.a.
    MIT License.
