Morphometricity:
A Tool to Measure the Neuroanatomical
Signature of a Trait
This page has been last updated
on June 24, 2016 and is under heavy construction. The main objective here is to
host a Matlab© implementation that computes point estimates
of morphometricity, standard errors, and p-values.
Details of morphometricity can be
found in this manuscript, which is
currently under review at PNAS. In brief, morphometricity is defined as the
proportion of phenotypic variation that can be
explained by macroscopic brain morphology.
We estimate morphometricity via a linear mixed effects model that utilizes an anatomical
similarity matrix computed based on measurements derived from structural brain Magnetic
Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans.
