I am currently a research staff member at IBM Research and a member of the Dynamic Optimization Group. Prior to joining IBM, I was a research scientist at MIT CSAIL, working closely with the Commit and Raw groups.
I am currently leading a new project called Liquid
Metal that explores new programming paradigms that aim to
blend the boundaries between software and hardware.
I am generally interested in the design, implementation, and analysis of
introspective and evolutionary computing systems. Topics of
research include programming
languages, compilers, and architecture.
