Word Play
Some interesting expressions I've seen today:
- "If you don't want to do anything, make sure you have everything to do." Here.
- "...We should e-egg and e-tomato the reporter..." In comments of this blog post. This one's etymology is particularly interesting-- the fellow first translates a Hindi idiom ("sade ande aur tamatar phenko") into English, and then tacks on a web-ifying 'e-' to them.
- "Nothing is more sincere than cash in advance." Here. Okay, this one is a quotation and not an original from the author. But still, it's cool.
