I'm a postdoctoral fellow at Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute in San Francisco and a research affiliate in the Computational Perception and Cognition group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Previously, I completed my Ph.D. in the Laboratory for Perception and Action at UC Berkeley.

My research investigates the neurodynamics of plasticity in the human brain. Using behavior, fMRI, and MEG, I study neural mechanisms of visual, auditory, and tactile processing, using Braille reading as a model of functional reorganization. Relatedly, I also investigate auditory space representation, echolocation, and assisted mobility in sighted and blind persons. More details at Research.
