The remote is small and silver and says NEC on it. It should be found on or around the video editing machine table. Note that the remote only functions within a 60-degree arc from the front and rear of the projector.
To turn off the projector, press and hold the Off button for two seconds. The green light on the projector will begin the flash and a message asking you to wait a moment will appear on the projected image. The fan will remain on for a few minutes after the image disappears before finally switching off.
1. Make sure the projector is on before you start. The projected image should be a
blue screen.
2. Press RGB 1 on the projector remote. The screen should remain blue, but will say
RGB in the corner.
3. On cinema, enter the Display Properties, either by accessing it from the control
panel or by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Properties."
4. In the Display Properties window, select the Settings tab.
5. In the Settings tab, click on the Advanced… button.
6. In the Advanced window, click on the Device Selection tab.
7. In the Device Selection tab, select Analog Monitor.
8. Press OK. The image will disappear on from the monitor and appear on the
projector screen. You cannot use the monitor while you are viewing the computer
over the projector.
To use another computer with the projector, simply remove the VGA cable in the back of cinema that is coming from the ceiling and plug it into the graphics card of the computer you want to use. If your graphics card has only one monitor output, then the image will probably instantly appear on the projector screen. If it is a dual-head card or a laptop, then some variation of the above steps will probably be needed.
1. Turn on both the DVD player and the projector.
2. Press the S-Video button on the projector remote control. The projector should now
be showing the screen for the DVD player.
