Cilkchess

1999 World Computer Chess Championship




Cilkchess, a parallel chess program developed by the Supercomputing Technologies Group at the MIT Laboratory for Computer Science competes in the

1999 World Computer Chess Championship,

June 14-20, 1999 in Paderborn, Germany.

Cilkchess is written in Cilk-5 and is running on a 256-processor SGI Origin 2000 at NASA Ames.

All games will take place in the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum in Paderborn, Fürstenallee 7, 33102 Paderborn.
The tournament will be a 7-round Swiss-system event, using standard (nonaccelerated) Swiss pairings.
