#CCGW16 Call For Submissions... Solved!

What is this?

This is a page containing solutions to the puzzles in the game CCGW16: Call For Submissions created by @mtrc, with help from @zarawesome. If you have not played it, you can and should play it right in your browser because it was made with the fantastic Puzzlescript engine by @increpare. You can even modify the source code if you wish!

Wait... what?

You do know about the 2nd Computational Creativity and Games Workshop, right? It will be held at Jun-27, 2016 at the 7th International Conference on Computational Creativity in Paris, France. If you are interested in AI, computational creativity, or videogames (or others!), you should check it out. Organized by the lovely folks @SentientDesigns, @yannakakis, and @mtrc. And some other guy.

How is this working?

While the game is really fun some of the puzzles were too tricky for me. (i.e. I was lazy.) Also, there just so happens to be a Puzzlescript Artificial Intelligence solver lying around! What you see are thus a result of the hard work of an AI figuring out the solutions; and the equally hard work of a human clicking a mouse. You can check out solutions to other Puzzlescript games in this gallery.

Who made this?

This page was created by @chongdashu. I am an EECS Ph. D. Candidate at the Imagination, Computation, and Expression Laboratory over at MIT. I research artificial intelligence and its applications to videogames and social networks. More information on this and other related projects at my webpage.
