In the Redesign Project for Security of ATM in Tsinghua, we find 3 key problems from our users: 1. Card Swallowed; 2. Waiting too long. 3. Be afraid of being seen by the other people when operating. So for these problems, we got several solutions: For card swallowed, we add Fingerprint. Web cam recognition and sound alert as prevention; For second problem, we combine some steps together to short time and give more useful and accurate suggestions when they meet problems; For the last one, we change the angle of wall and screen so that only user can read the information on screen. The design we did based on the research. They are just prototype, haven't be tested yet. Hope it cant be perfect after doing some user test.
