Project Administration
Athena Locker
Our class locker is 6.894. For each team, there is an athena group, a subdirectory
in the class locker, and a mailing list. Team A's group, for example, is
called 6.894-a, its subdirectory is /mit/6.894/teama, and
its mailing list is 6.894-a@mit.edu.
Each team directory contains a directory realtime_procs; this
contains sources and object code for CTAS. The team directory and this
subdirectory are mount points for volumes whose quotas are 100MB and 150MB
respectively. The CTAS code uses close to the entire quota, so you'll probably
have to put any new stuff in the team directory, and not in realtime_procs.
Each team has read/write access to its own directory, as well as administrative
privileges for its group. Additionally, I've given each team read access
to the other team's directories. I encourage you to exchange ideas, both
within and across teams.
Code Disclosure
You may take private copies of any of the CTAS code should you wish to
work in other locations. I would ask, though, that you do NOT make any
of the code publicly accessible, even within MIT. NASA are being very generous
in giving us this code and helping us with it, and we must not violate
their trust in us by acting irresponsibly.
