I kept increasing the stack size all the way up to 100MB, but even at
that huge stack size, the program would only run for about 5 iterations
through the outside loop of 10 times.  Something is clearly majorly
wrong with the optimized code.

Also, how do I use the without-bounds-checks macro?  Is that what it is
called?  I can't find which library/module is it in?
