These recordings are of a solitary bird singing over two nights on
Morrison Avenue near Davis Square, Somerville, MA in July 2009.  I
believe it's fairly special to find a quiet environment (especially an
urban one!) with a recordable solitary bird in the wild.  I think the
bird is a mockingbird.

The FLAC format raw recordings were made on my laptop, and processed
with Audacity to remove noise, producing the MP3 files.
