The idea of the post-it notes allowed to distribute bits of information in visible places, so we would remember them. Through computer-vision we can think on carrying the idea still further. Certain parts of a space could be marked with tags, and associated with events and actions carried by a computer, who would identify which tags we touch each time. This way, it would be possible for a user to program its environment, assigning to a point near the entrance door the function of switching off all lights and appliances, or tags to order via e-mail our favorite foods.
