About Me

I am a PhD student in the Spoken Language Systems group at CSAIL. My research interests include signal processing for speech applications, auditory signal processing, speaker recognition, and audio information retrieval. Currently, I am working on the problem of unsupervised language acquisition from speech.

I am originally from Canada, but have been in the Boston area since 1997. I help to organize a weekly hockey game through our lab. Please let me know if you are interested in joining us (especially if you are able to play goalie!).
