I love rockclimbing. I am climbing since 2005 which I think is a big deal.
I am member of the X-climb team lead by Yuri Kostin, an excellent climber and a frequent orginizer and judge of various competitions.
Among all the different types of this sport I prefer the indoor version (I believe outdoor climbing is the very same thing PLUS deprivation from the comforts of civilization). As most amateurs I particularly like bouldering -- which is climbing short but difficult problems. From my experience bouldering is not only a physical but also an intellectually challenging activity, its cognitive load is comparable to chess.
I am a part of the team of running climbers (or climbing runners) "Fat Raccoon".
So far I am working with distances 10-15 km but I am preparing for the half-marathon.
I dream to run full marathon one day.
Apart from sports I love reading, especially science fiction.
I think that reading developed my imagination and art of writing and speaking.
I believe that running made me patient and gave a broad experience of overcoming pains and inconveniences.
Belay taught me to trust and to be responcible no matter what happens around.
