Brazil is my last stop. Descending from the clouds from the magic time capsule of an airplane I feel time differently, the end of the year approaching yet anticipating the changes that will come over me after three months of living in Salvador. The clouds and visions above Salvador in the early afternoon sun captured this.

The last two weeks of my Watson year, and of my stay in Brazil have been incredible. I have surpassed what I thought I could do with my year and had the amazing luck to have met two wonderful musicians - Humberto and Cassius. Humberto is recording Brazilian (and specifically Bahian) rhythms for me to later compose over while Cassius have been working together with me and arranging my songs with a Brazilian flavor. This is the concrete start to a CD of my compositions and the material I have been working on all of this year (from Egypt, India etc). My plan is to continue cowriting and arranging with Cassius during the year and hopefully produce a full CD in a years time...
