Homework Grading Instructions:

• Comments to the students are the most important part of the process
• Grade on a "check", "check-", "check+" scale, where "check" means that they essentially got the idea of the solution. Hand out "check+"'s sparingly if at all -- only if someone has an extremely nice solution.
• I would like a file containing the name, grade and a summary of the comments.
• Prepare a solution in latex format. If there are any really interesting alternate solutions, it would be nice if you at least sketch the ideas.
• When you are done (hopefully within a week), please meet with me to go over the homeworks and the solution.
