I'm a Course 2 graduate student at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). I'm a member of the Haystack Lab, and my advisor is David Karger.
My research focus is on improving education using social applications. In particular, I'm interested by the dynamics of taking, submitting and exchanging annotations on digital documents. In this context, I've been working on the following projects:
- The Tutor, an annotation taking tool, that students and faculty can use to annotate arbitrary web pages.
- NB, an annotation taking tool, that students and faculty can use to annotate arbitrary online PDF files.
