The HierArchical Presenting Problem ontologY (HaPPy) is a subset of SNOMED CT concepts that represents Emergency Department Presenting Problem Concepts. The ontology was empirically derived then iteratively validated by an expert consensus panel. Administrative support was provided by an ACEP Section Grant.
