3 years, 8 months, 6 days The whole family visited Disneyland last weekend. Cale's favorite ride was the Tower of Terror.

3 years, 7 months, 20 days This past week Cale spent in Atlanta with his mama, exploring the city while she attended CHI. He enjoyed frequenting swank night clubs, riding a Segue, and eating deoderant. Not all of these activities were Mama-approved.

3 years, 5 months Cale seems to be in the midst of an identity crisis. Yesterday he reported, "Cale and Dillon are being too wild! Wait, I mean Cale and Griffin are being too wild." Took him a while to successfully implicate Griffin and Dillon.

3 years, 3 months, 25 days Cale went out to lunch with Mama and Dada today, and demanded sushi. He may be the only three year old on the Eastside who loves ikura with quail egg.

3 years, 2 months, 23 days Cale was a chainsaw monster for Halloween, inspired by a toy chainsaw he saw in a store and had to get. Before realizing the chainsaw could be used to directly maim people, he thought he was fearsome because he could chop down trees and make them fall on people. He's since taken to asking Dada for details of what a chainsaw monster is. "Are chainsaw monsters immortal?" Cale may be the only three year old on the Eastside who has slept with a chainsaw for the past month.

3 years, 1 month, 17 days Cale started preschool at The Little School this fall. He loves having his own teacher and his own friends, but he always joins Dillon during recess to rake the dirt and build mud pies. Unfortunately, preschool has also brought with it illness, and Cale has been sick on and off for the past month.
Shortly before school started, Cale visited Hawaii with his family. There he particularly enjoyed pretending to be a "water kitty," splashing on the "kitty pool" stairs and hunting for delicious salmon.

2 years, 11 month, 11 days Cale ate crickets, maggots, scorpions, and grasshoppers today at his 3rd birthday party. David Gordon, the Bug Chef (url), prepared lunch for the party goers while the kids hunted for ladybugs in the yard.
