Team Bonding! We're going out to get team drinks tonight. I was
thinking about going somewhat early (say, 7PM) to
somewhere local. Let me know if you have time or place preferences.
Platform Building Event Captain I am still looking for some
brave soul who wants to Event Captain the platform building contest tomorrow.
Come on, I know you're out there!
Photos Up! Every one now has a photo up on the team roster. Thanks
a lot, especially to Lilla and Jeremy, for getting that done! If
yours isn't funny or recognizable, you could win even more points for your
team finding one!
Scavenger Hunt!Lilla has a box in her
office (NE43-739) for the scavenger hunt items. Be sure to dig up anything
you can and bring them to her. Check out the items left to be collected at
/home/ai/lzollei/olympics/scavanger.txt
Trade! Go to http://www.ai.mit.edu/lab/olympics/2000/events/vsm/ and log in using
the password EDSman. Make a trade. The more people to trade, the more
likely we will win this event. So go for it! Talk to
Lisa for more information.
Picasso's Inverse. The results from the Paint by Numbers event are
very cool. If you haven't seen the pictures,
take a look.
Note: The painting is now mounted and on display in the 8th floor playroom.
Old News!
1/21/00: Tonight! Tonight we kick off the 2000 Artificial Intelligence
Olympics. I hope to see all of you at the 7th floor playroom at 6
PM! There will be food (Redbones Barbecue) and GSB,
if you need extra motivation.
1/26/00:Great job, Team! Thanks to everyone who has been making it to the
events. This weekend was a lot of fun. Our crazy Picasso looks great.
We've really been showing up the other teams with a great turn out. Let's
keep it up! We suck!
1/27/00:Photos! We win points by having funny, recognizable photos up
on the
team roster. If you have such a photo in digital format (I unfortunately
don't), get it up there (send the url to
Erik Miller). If you don't, let's try
to figure out how to obtain such footage. Any ideas?
Anyone want to be in charge of getting this organized? (If so, email teevan@mit.edu.) By the way, this needs to
be done by tomorrow. Thanks to Jeremy for taking some pictures.
