Sea Dogs from CSAIL seadogs@csail.mit.edu Literature Reading Group Thursdays, 7 PM - 10 PM 3rd Week of the Month Home * Book * About |
Although this book goes a little over the top at the end, it's a very
interesting portrayal of a country we've read so much about in the news
recently, Afghanistan. In addition to being an interesting window into
another culture, the book also brings up interesting universal questions
about class, family, loyalty and courage. Optional non-fiction book, if you have the time: West of Kabul, East of New York: An Afghan American Story, by Tamim Ansary. | ||
