I just thought we weren't supposed to trace, not that we can't even look at other works as we're drawing or work from them. Hmm, such a pity! I really love that one of that girl you didn't know who it was... you know... ok, byes! I love that one too! How can it even be fan art! I didn't even know what series she's from or her name!
Mar 29 2002	Elfwood artist: Lei-Li Mänder	I have to ask: Why the hell was the link picture removed? It's fan-art in the fan-art gallery. Now what wrong did they find? Apparently it is "copied". I spen an hour sketching it but apparently it's not "fan art". It's "copied fan art". Like most of the stuff I've seen in here isn't referenced!?! Ha!

(i also checked out your fantasy gallery) i know how it is, i have been rejected for a fanart section for sooo long, i have a ticket for it thats been in quque for about a month! Ive run through 2 fantasy gallery tickets during that time and they both came through! ^-^ i really like your art work, its a shame some of your real charectars were called fanart, you should just put them up here and make a special code like "mc4r" (my charectar 4 real)so everyone will know!

If that happened to me I would take that as a sign that my technique needs to improve or I'd need to discover a different way to portray my favorite characters. If you're just re-drawing a character in the same style in which it was created. I imagine you will get that kinda response. Also my originals are truly original. I go out of my way to make sure of that. However, just because you can't post them on Elfwood isn't the end of the world. That's what the Private Gallery link is for. ^_^
