i take offense! ;) i realise that this was the 'student' solution, but the
car was in great shape! just like i took great comfort in the overall engine
protection that was a side result of my '86 tercel's tendency to spray oil
all over everything under the hood, so too did i see benefit to having the
tremendously corrosive action of the brake fluid eat away at harmful
contaminants that would have otherwise done the underside of the car great
harm. it also forced extremely frequent and routine maintanance, as did the
tercel's oil leak.

it's just not the same with these miatas. i have to do everything by hand.
