Body Question Round-Up
(My boyfriend and I were) kissing then he pulled my pants and underwear down and he was over me; but I turned away and pulled me pants up and zipped it down. He did that like three times and I did the same and pulled away. The last time he came close to my underwear but I moved away from him quickly and I zipped my pants and I left. Am I pregnant? I get paranoid easily I expect my period in the next week or two.
To answer your specific question: No, I really, really, really don't think you're pregnant. You didn't say if your boyfriend had his pants down or not, or where it was he came. If his pants were down and he came, like, on your underwear, there's an incredibly remote possibility you could get pregnant. I mean, really tiny, like 1 in 10 million. If he had his pants up, it's basically impossible. You can't get pregnant unless your vagina comes in contact with semen. No semen, no worries. Semen, but not near the vagina, no worries.
I think the important issue here isn't whether or not you could get pregnant, but that he can't take a hint that you didn't want him pulling down your pants. You have to tell him, and really clearly. If he tries something you don't want, move away, say no, and say, "Hey, [boyfriend], quit pulling my pants down!" He'll probably ask why, so you should tell him (whatever your reason is...you're not comfortable doing that, you're worried about getting caught, you want to wait...whatever. You obviously have a reason, let him know what it is.)
I am 17 years old and still a virgin, but I haven't had my period in about 6 months. Is this hereditary? What is wrong with me?
The big question is: Have you lost a lot of weight recently? Severe or sudden dieting can make your reproductive system slow down, as your body conserves energy. (Your body also knows it isn't in good condition to get pregnant if you're dangerously skinny or haven't been eating right - your body's smart!)
So if you've lost a bunch of weight recently, you need to go talk to a doctor. You may be thinner, but if you've lost your period, you're not healthy, and this could be a sign of more serious health problems to come...kidney problems, immune problems, or heart problems. You need to balance your diet, and slow your weight loss before you damage your body permanently.
(The damage it does to your body is why starving is NOT a form of birth control. Not only does it not work, it does can cause long-term problems.)
If you haven't lost weight recently, I'd say go see a gynocologist. You could have something weird going on with your ovaries where they're not regulating your cycle right.
Well I just recently started to have sex. At first it hurt, but not too bad. I know my hymen is broken, but when his penis gets up too high I feel this pain in my lower stomach. Is that my cervix? And is it bad for the penis to be up to high, will it damage it?!
Yup, pain in the lower stomach during deep penetration is probably him hitting your cervix. If it's your cervix itŐs a sharp pain in one tiny spot, and it goes away if you shift the angle, or you change positions.
If it's a general pain all through your abdomen, it's something else and you should see a gynocologist.
No, there's not much bad that can do to you - unless you're pregnant, where it can break your water! - the worst is if you have rough sex and your cervix gets pounded for too long you can bruise it, which makes you feel sore inside, almost like menstral cramps. So my advice is next time it happens, shift your hips to change the angle of penetration, and if that doesn't work, tell your boyfriend you're uncomfortable and change positions.
I hate my vagina. My inner lips are bigger than my outer ones. They hang out, and they are embarassing! I have been to the gynocologist about them, she says they are normal. If they are normal, I don't feel comfortable with them. I am not supposed to hate my body, and I want to cry when ever I see it.ĘIs there a way that I could like myself better? Or feel more comfortable with being with a guy?! I tense up, and I don't want to anymore!
Sorry, there's not a lot I can do for you but to tell you the same thing your doctor said - that's totally normal. Not "normal" the way being a midget is normal, or having red hair is normal, but normal as in average. I can't say I have a whole lot of experience with other girls' vaginas ;D but considering how many other e-mails I've gotten from girls complaining about their inner lips being "ugly," "uneven," or "too big," I'd say you have nothing to worry about.
Let's think about it this way: How attractive are penises? I mean, really? They're not! They're really silly looking. Soft they're like a goofy little wormy thingy, hard they're even more ridiculous, waving around pointing at things with their mini-Darth Vader helmet. Dicks are silly. But straight girls (and gay men) like 'em. They're attracted to them, no matter how goofy they are. Well it's the same with straight guys (and lesbians) and vaginas. Even though they're weird looking, they love 'em.
So I wouldn't worry about a guy taking a look at your vag and going, "Damn, that's ugly! Ew! Why are your lips like that!?" They'd have to be half-way to your knees to get that much attention. Besides, if you're in a situation where a guy's getting a good look, they're too busy thinking about (and likely, with) Darth Vader to care.
