Thanks, I'll try this when I get home. In the back of my head, I don't
think it'll work. You see, after I sent the message, I also tried
pinging my gateway's IP addr. Nothing came back. It's not that I think
something is wrong with the card or the cabling; it works fine for
another, albeit crappy, OS. I just think I have something
mis-configured, and have run out of think I can think of to try.
