Hi Tania,
These are some sketches that I did this morning. They're pretty lame, but
I wanted to put some out there, so you wouldn't feel embarassed about sharing
yours.
Most are just playing with the letters. I also mentioned in an email I sort
like the "J" and "L" intertwining into a tree idea. One is a start at that.
I searched and found these tree tops. We could add the "J" and "L" to the
bottom.
As for playing with letters, I found some "H"s and stuff online, and thought
they could be combined with "T"s pretty easily. But none of them are
particularly inspiring. Here's one of the better ones:
The query "monogram" on Google
image search or
Altavista image search
works pretty well. For example,
I did find this set of three letters. I think it's pretty good. It was
designed to be "JSL", but I think we could easily make it into a "T" and an
"H". As a bonus, it would even have a "J" and an "L" in it.
I also like Bach's monogram quite a bit. (Examples can also be found at
this URL.)
We could convert this into a "T" and an "H" I imagine,
if we wanted to.
Both the "JSL" and the Bach thingee are less fun because they won't be
entirely original, but I think they'd be pretty good anyway. And we could
really make them our own by playing with them a little.
Anyway, that's just what I've been thinking. Opinions?
Love,
Jaime
