Easy and fabulous peach cobbler

I make it in a meatloaf sized dish, so the quantities are for that. 
Serves
about 4 people.

Heat the oven to 425
Chop three or four peaches into the dish
Put in the oven to start heating
In a Cuisinart (or by hand, but a Cuisinart is easier) mix:
        a stick of butter
        some sugar (hm, say, a 1/2 cup)
        the same amount of pancake mix (I use whole grain)
Remove the peaches from the oven and sprinkle the mixture over them
Cook until it looks cooked (starts to brown, peaches bubble)
Serve with vanilla ice cream
