About the couple
Jaime (url) is a 25 year-old doctoral candidate, in her third year of study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, dancing and power yoga. Originally from San Francisco, Jaime is currently living in Boston.
Alex (url) is a 26 year-old software development manager for Amadeus Global Travel Distribution. Also originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Alex currently lives in Boston. He will begin business school at the Yale University School of Management in the fall.

How they met
"We met in physics class, getting to know each other over late nights with hard problem sets. We fell in love in the restaurants of New Haven, over Louis burgers and saag paneer."
Their engagement was announced on August 18, 2001.
How they got engaged
"We got engaged quietly, at home. Afterwards, we went for a walk and enjoyed a nice dinner and a movie while we let the fact that we were getting married sink in."
For their honeymoon, Jaime and Alex will spend the summer traveling through Spain.
